Say Good Bye To Buttons; Touch Sensitive Technology Is Here

How long you will press buttons and operate stereo system, air conditioning and other systems in your car? The brand new 2011 Lincoln MKX allows you to turn on and operate media and climate-control functions with the swipe of a finger completely eliminating traditional buttons and switches. Napleton's Northlake Lincoln Mercury, your neighborhood dealer for new Lincoln cars and used cars in North Palm Beach, Florida, is pleased to inform that 2011 Lincoln MKX popular midsize luxury crossover offers an easier, customer-friendly operation and a more modern design through this unique technology.

The touch-sensitive technology's touch cells do the job and an audible "beep" along with illumination confirms the activation. This touch-sensitive system complements the implementation of MyLincoln Touch driver connect technology, adding to the groundbreaking media and climate-control interaction experience not available in competitive vehicles.

This is how the touch-sensitive technology works. The touch cells create a miniature, undetectable electric field. The field breaks when a finger - even a thin-gloved one – touches it and causes the cell to go on or off like a traditional switch. An audible "beep" with illumination confirms the activation. The touch cells have been employed to control radio seek, radio station tuning, CD track seek, defrosters and air conditioning and the 2011 Lincoln MKX demonstrates all the advantages of this touch-sensitive technology in a beautiful, engaging package. The touch-sensitive technology can also operate the volume and fan controls, which is unique to Lincoln. This is not all, there's more.
